Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

I’m so happy to be your 3d host this week because this gift idea is truly simple, easy, and is yummalicious! My sister gave this Friendship Soup recipe to me last year and I have enjoyed passing it onto others. The one quart jar is easy to decorate and all family members can get involved in the project. Any beans will work in the recipe. I’ve used ground beef, sausage, or chicken as the meat base - they all work! Living in the north, we are totally into our comfort foods and soup is my ultimate favorite during the winter months.

Decorating the jar is easy also. Use the circular lid insert as a template to trace the pattern paper. Place a few Glue Dots, Scor-Pal tape, or Red Line on the rim of the jar to hold the twill or ribbon in place. Once the twill is wrapped around the lid, pull the ends through the hole on the tag from the back in order to tie the ribbon in front. The tag is a simple 3x5 size and can be decorated any way you want. The mitten is an Accucut shape, and is easily replicated. It is also mounted in front of the ribbon to create dimension. Any paper, ribbon and embellishments work! This makes a great hostess gift and just in time for the holidays. Remember to tag your photo 3d39.

Have fun and Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! This is not a new jar I made, but one I love and was very easy.
