Adding friends
Hello! I am new to this group. I have received 4 emails for friend requests but do not know how to accept them. I went to the link provided on the email, but cannot figure out what to do next. Can someone help me. I tried asking on the chat discussion, but no one would answer me so I am at a loss.

If you noticed the thread of msg on this page you'll see you aren't alone. Some of us are having problems ACCEPTING friends. What you are looking for when you follow the link is a button which says "ACCEPT". Theoretically, you would click on the button & that would connect to the person who sent you a request of friendship. I, myself, have only seen the "ACCEPT" button once out of 4 or 5 new friends. I have lost more then I've gained.
What seems to work for me when I receive a msg of friendship is that I click on the person's name & that usually connects me to her page. I explain why I came at her from a different way then she may have been expecting, however I don't have any other choice so I worked this one out for myself. (By no means am I any kind of computer whizz!!!)
I have to say that this doesn't work every time but it works more often then the so-called "regular" way. This isn't as complicated as it sounds, plus, what have you got to loose?
I wish you all kinds of eventual friends. This place is really worth any effort you make to hang around. O, & BTW, how would you like to be friends, Pam? On the top of this msg should be my name: Susan Rowe. It's underlined & a slightly different color. Follow that the same as any link & then leave me a msg. Susan, did you get the request from "Ningtastic" and that worked, but none of the other ones do? Ningtastic is Courtney from NING tech support and she's working with us to get this resolved. It's an inconsistent problem, and since they can't recreate it, they are having a hard time figuring out how to fix it. Please let her know that you're having issues still.

I have not recieved any new friend requests, but the ones I had recieved before you put the ticket in I am still not able to respond to. I'll have to see if I can follow the directions to click on the person and go from that direction.

It worked!!! I got your friend request and was able to accept. I think I will need to go the other route with old requests, but new ones seem to be working. Thank you!!!!

I can't add any friends either , except the ning tech support one ...I'll send you an invite , maybe it will work . we have lots in commom.

No, you won't be able to go back for the old ones. The only work around is to find those members and invite them. It sucks, but they can only do the fix going forward.
