Hello! I thought it would be neat to see if there's some ppl here that are from Ontario, Canada! I'm from the Georgina area, right on Lake Simcoe. We woke to snow this morning. Just a dusting, but wasn't prepared! It's been trying to snow off and on all day. Certainly colder than the last week or so!! Great Canadian Weather!! I don't mind the cold, because it's a reason for me to hit my scrapbook room and stay there!!

Hi Anne. Sounds like you got alot done.

Keep you fingers crossed on the snow and we see just enough for xmas and then it leaves for spring.
I'm in Toronto. I hate this season cause I get up and out of the house so early........
I am in Port Hope, was snowing yesterday morning...SNOW has become a "four letter word" in my house...every year I hate it more!!!
I'm in London too! The sky here is so grey and heavy most days we know snow is right around the corner. I will admit I love snow at first, then by the time we hit Jan and Feb I am soooo sick of it. Too bad it seems like half our year is snow lol.
good morning ladies. Damp and overcast here this morning at +2. They are calling for rain to snow with it going up to +4 this afternoon so we'll see. Oh well another indoor day. Maybe I can get a few things done I started yesterday and stalled on.
Good afternoon! I started replying this morning and then, well, you know how it is! So here I am! Welcome to the new faces! So glad to see more ppl on board!

Carol - My hubby works in Toronto and it's about an hours drive from here, give or take, and he leaves at 5 usually. Come winter, he's usually leaving around 4:30 or so. Not fun!

Kelly - Hot chocolate and fireplaces go hand in hand in the winter time!

Debbie - I hear ya on that 'four letter word'!! Kids love it, but I don't!

Hi Andrea!

Hi Beth! It's the same here. Weird weather these days!
Morning!! Well, not a nice day today! That's for sure. Rainy and wet...yuck! Santa Claus parade is this wknd and then we have another one in Sutton on Dec 6th that starts at 5pm. I love it. It's something that has become a tradition in our family to go, park at Timmy's, get our coffee's, hot chocolates etc and then park our behinds on the curb and watch the parade. It is always nicer to have snow rather than rain...we'll see!
Good Morning Ladies ... unfortunately ... for me, it's raining outside and oh so gloomy. Days like this certainly keep me INSIDE, and therefore I have declared today ... cleaning day! Yup, I love to clean when it's yucky out and save the sunny bright days for going out to run errands and such.

Karen, I hope the day is nice for the parade. I know what you mean about a little tradition, we used to take my son every year and it was just a really fun family day. We would pack a little snack and hot cocoa, and like you, park our hinnies on the curb! Have fun!!!

Beth, I hear ya about the "black ice" it's absolutely dreadful! I used to travel back and forth from Sudbury (north or Toronto) to Toronto on hwy 69 and the 400, and I have to say going through Barrie was always a challenge. Snow drifts, blizzards and ice ... not a great combo. I'm like you, I'll stay in on days like that now, it's way to scary and dangerous ... why risk it!!!
another canuck here! :D
I live in the Hammer -aka- Hamilton, ON.
it's rainy and cruddy outside, but nothing shovel so I'm glad for that!
Hello

Just surfin' through some blogs and came across yours. Great to see so many Canadians and from my town Burlington too! The replies made reference to a snowy day in november. Ahhhh at last we can enjoy a beautiful Ontario summer....well not today it is raining. LOL!

Happy Crafting!
no rain here yet this morning. It poured last night though. Just overcast and damp out again. Calling for rain this afternoon. So I'm heading out for some xmas shopping ( stuff has arrived that I ordered locally) and the post office. Maybe the snow won't come for a little while yet.

I just hate travelling in this kind of weather. I've had 1 spinout and a rollover on black ice heading to Thunder Bay and it's not fun. Both on rainy days that just dropped in temperature within a 5 mile area and turned the highways immediately into skating rinks. Stuff like that happens quickly around here and there are vehicles in the ditch all over the place. People laugh at me now that I won't travel so much in the winter unless it's sunny and the highways are clear
Hello! Well, did we get some snow this wknd! There's not a ton, but it was a steady run most of the wknd and icy this morning too. I chk'ed the weather network and it looks like the last week of Nov it's just straight snow.

How's everyone doing?
