Hey everyone! Welcome to our Week 12 Challenge for our Back to Basics Class from Stampendous. Click on over to our
Back to Basics group to take the lesson and play along.
This week we're learning how to specialty inks like Staz On to stamp on non-porous surfaces. We'll walk you step by step through making an ornament and a coordinating holiday card.

I made two projects using this technique. The card has both clear and frosted acetate sheets. To make the image show up better, I added colored card stock behind the stamped image to frame it. To hide the adhesive from showing through, I added Dew Drops over the glue dots. The stamp set is called Peace Everywhere (Stampendous).

This was a fun project to make. I used frosted acetate for a more dramatic effect. The basic is a simple tin canister with the top removed. It's best to use canisters with a see-thru top so you can remove the plastic and still keep the lid. After stamping the images using StazOn, I used sticky tape to attach the sides together. Be very careful when using real tea lights. I recommend using battery-operated ones.
We'll be having a challenge each week to go along with each lesson. To play along, make a card, scrapbook page or 3D item using the simple stamping technique featured this week. Our featured techniques this week all featured images stamped on acetate. Tag your photo
b2b12 (all lowercase) so that we can pull your project into our gallery. (If you're new to Paper Craft Planet,
here is an excellent tutorial on adding photos to the gallery!)
Next Wednesday, we'll pick one lucky, random, winner from our challenge players for the generous prize pictured at the end of the lesson!
