Back to Basics: Lesson Eleven

Hey everyone! Welcome to our Week 11 Challenge for our Back to Basics Class from Stampendous. Click on over to our Back to Basics group to take the lesson and play along.


This week we're learning all about how to create different backgrounds using stickers and chalks. You'll never look at the sticker racks again after you realize all the different looks you can make!

I created this card using the Thanks Leaves Class a Peel stickers as a stencil and then spritzed over the cardstock. Once the cardstock was dry, I added some stickers on top. This was such a fun technique and I love the shine and shimmer it gives.

I created this card using the Wise Men stamp and Versamark ink and then used the Poppin' Pastels technique to apply decorator chalks to the ink with some daubers.


We'll be having a challenge each week to go along with each lesson. To play along, make a card, scrapbook page or 3D item using the simple stamping technique featured this week. Our featured techniques this week all featured glitter and flock in backgrounds. Tag your photo b2b11 (all lowercase) so that we can pull your project into our gallery. (If you're new to Paper Craft Planet, here is an excellent tutorial on adding photos to the gallery!)
