Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Is anyone going all out this year with handmade gifts? I've decided that I'm not buying anything but craft supplies this year for Christmas. :) I'm going to be making all my gifts. I've only decided on a few and am looking for ideas on the rest...

Here's what I've decided on:
a paper bag calendar book- for someone who will remain nameless cuz she's on here too. :)
a family clipboard flip album- for dad
"Home" chipboard hanging sign- for step mom

I need ideas for my 10 and 11 yo sisters... my mom and step dad..

I wanted to cross stitch a picture for my mom but I'm afraid that ship has sailed. lol.

What are you making for your loved ones?

Giving a set of card for their use is always a good, welcomed gift. Packaging cards with matching stamped envelopes along with stamps.

What a bath spa gift set...little bottles filled with nice smelling stuff with your own stamped labels.

You could also do a name frame (for your Mom).
Thanks Lynn. :)

I forgot to add I'm doing a M.O.M and D.A.D picture for each of them... I found these neat glass frames at the $1 store last year and they have 3 places for photos so I was going to do one letter in each and stamp em up. :)

the spa set idea is awesome!! why didnt' I think of that? lol. thanks so much! :)
My best friend did a trip through Asia, I am going to make her a mini album to put on her coffee table.
good idea. :) I was invited to go camping with my BFF and her family on Labor day and I have a ton of photos that I can scrap. I had them printed last week and I wanna make a paper bag book for her with them. Something that her kids can enjoy as well. I love making little things like that. :)

I bet your Asia album will rock. I can't wait to see pics!
cute ideas. i was thinking on the same giving sets of cards of different occassions
Last year almost everyone I get a gift for wanted gift cards! Not only did it make shopping easy - I made a bunch of gift card holders and included them in a handmade card. I plan on doing the same thing this year!
Of course the cute little sticky note covers have been done a lot. I have made a small birthday calendar using the calendar template from splitcoaststampers.com
I think that "personal" pressies made with a bit of love are nice, and loads less expensive (SOMETIMES.LOL.) than a mass produced something.
I am going to make my hubby a desk clock and my Dad a big clock with pics of our boys aswell. My Mum has just got into cardmaking (hmmmmm wonder why?) so I am giving her an SU "simply sent" kit.
Hi I love the sound of your gifts. I have family overseas so be sending scrapbook albums.
Im also making mini Christmas cakes and making boxes for them
I'm making wall art. I gave my friends card sets last year for Christmas. One framed hers for her home. She said they were too pretty to use. And a guy at work has framed a card of mine as well. Two years ago I gave candles that were stamped on.
OOOO whatcha gonna make me???? :)

I make a calender for my Mom, Dad gets frames prints of the kids, Grandma gets random scrappy projects haven't figured this year's out yet maybe an explosion box, Mother in law gets scrapbook pages but this year she will get a mini book. Haven't fifured out your gift yet but I think I will make the QKD dt handmade keychains! Um yeah I think I should get started what do you think? lol Not to mention the christmas cards I haven't started yet. AHHHHH! I've tried giving away card/envie sets before but then they didn't want to actually "use" the cards because they loved them too much. Go fig! lol
I've tried to give cards away too but they always seem to end up in drawers somewhere because either they are crafters and make their own, they don't send mail or they don't wanna use them cuz they are too pretty.

My mom has a friend.. I made her a pack of cards about 17 years ago when I started all this stamping madness.... She takes them out of the drawer once a year just to look at them and then puts them away again. they were tied with some lace all nice and pretty and she STILL has them tied with the same piece of lace that's falling apart. How funny is that?
