Many stamp companies, including Stampin' Up! have an "angel policy." Usually it means, if you sell something with their image, you have to put something on the card/scrapbook page that says the image is copyrighted by Stampin' Up! (or whatever company). You just have to see what the angel policy is for any images you use that are not your own. There's actually a stamping company called "The Angel Company" that was created so people could use their images for both personal and profit. Even some digital stamps have copyright restrictions, so you'll have to check with each manufacturer.
Hope this helps.

Hi. I'm curious about your posting and how you are selling the items you craft. Are you selling on-line, to friends/family, in independent retail shops? How do you market your products?
I'm a scrapbooker and really would like to make a lucrative business from crafting custom albums. Any thoughts you might share are appreciated.
Thanks.
Julie C.
I download lots of digital stamps from the internet and each one
I save with the name of the artist, then I check their Angel Policy
- most of the artists allow you to colour and then sell a hand-crafted
card using their image. I have two files for digital images - one for
those artists I know allow you to sell hand-crafted items using their
images and one for those I know (or I'm not sure about) do not want
you to use their images for profit but only for personal use. I am also
making a list of all the artists that allow the use of their digital
stamps for selling hand-crafted cards and their terms for this.
This works for me. I believe these digital stamps can also be
used on other items.
