Hello,
I wonder about the CirCut machine.
It looks great and I want one.
Does anyone own one?
Would they recommend one?
What is the best model in your opinion?
Thanks for your input.

I have the small Cricut and wish I had the Expression instead. I do use it some but it is very limiting.
The Cuttlebug is great and I use it all the time. It is easy to find inexpensive embossing folders.
Good luck in making your choice.
Hi Louise, I have had my Expression for about a year and I love it. I use it about 3 or 4 times a week. I would not have bought it because of it's price. But my boyfriend had watched the info mercial, and said he wanted to buy me one for my birthday, if I wanted one! If I wanted one..... holy cow.....WELL YES! We had to save up so while we saved, I did research and found some great websites/blogs. I read and watched everything I could find. So by the time it came to my front door, I was ready to get started. There is a learning curve, but it's such fun while you learn, I didn't mind. I sugest you go to Robyn Cardons' blog and watch some of her videos. I learned a lot from her. I also have a Cuttlebug which I bought before getting my bug. I never use it to diecut now, but I do use it for embossing. There are some wonderful embossing folders that are not that expensive. They add just a bit of extra goodness to your projects. I would recommend getting the Cuttlebug first. You can find them all over the net, for all kinds of prices. Do some window shopping before you buy, and always go with the cheapest at the time price. All Cuttlebugs are the same reguardless of the price. Sometimes you can get a good deal on a package. And that's true with the Cricuts too. Good luck and I hope you can get an Expression eventually. It's well worth the investment. My wonderful guy often sits and watches me create, with a big grin on his face! He's so happy that he's made me happy. And he loves seeing my creations. I'm such a lucky woman!!! Jessica
Hi Jessica,
Yes you are a lucky woman! ....and so am I!
My mom bought me a Cricut and I am in love with it!
Thanks for the blogs and suggestions.
Have a happy day!
Louise
Hey Louise, I also have an expression. I would never have asked for it becuase of the price. But my sweet boyfriend got me one for my birthday last year! I love it, love it , love it! I have gotten I think 15 cartridges since the beginning. But I've only ever bought one at full price. If you search the web, you can find them a lot cheaper than the recommended price. There's always a sale. My favorite cartridge, Wild Card, took me about 6 months before I found it at a price I would (could) pay. I use my cricut almost every day. I make a lot of cards. And I alter journal covers, and boxes and tins etc, etc. I've recently purchased the 12 x 24 inch mats and am loving that I can make larger boxes etc with them. But they are not something I would recommend in the beginning. My first cartridge purchase was A Walk in My Garden. I used it for months before I was able to buy another one. I love all the flowers and bugs etc! I recommend it for everyone.
I also have a Cuttlebug. I use it to emboss my card stock. It makes a big difference in my creations. I have a bunch of alphabets for it, that I never use any more because I now have my cricut. It's so much easier to cut with it. I've been trying to get rid of them for months now. But nobody seems to want them. I guess a lot of people rather like their cricut! :) Good luck, which ever way you go.
