Permalink Reply by Karla Olmstead on November 15, 2011 at 11:54am I need some help about the cuttlebug. I am going to buy one, but am not sure that it is the best die cut machine.
I would love to have some input about the cuttlebug.
hey Karla,
i have the cricut die cutting machine and i like it for what it does for die cuts but i love my cuttlebug for the embossing. it does such a wonderful job and it is about the only thing i use it for other than the spellbinders and thats it. its a great piece of equipment that every scrapper should have. you wont regret it.

Permalink Reply by Karla Olmstead on November 15, 2011 at 7:40pm Hi Deb,
Thank you for the reply. I have arthritis in both of my wrists so I need the one that doesn't take a
lot of force to work. I have seen the excalibur and I would love to get that but it is quite a bit
more and I really want to see how much I will use it. I also have a cricut which I really enjoy using.
I think I will go on line and check all of these out. My sister-in-law said she has a lot of embossing
plates for the cuttlebug that she would be glad to give me...so that would be great too.
Have a nice evening.
Karla

Find it is used so much more because is it less cumbersome, takes much less room, and is so easy to use. Any die used has worked great, no problems, and the folders of course are so easy to work with. Sorry, but would never repurchase a big shot, but would go for the grand caliber.
my 2 cents worth.
has anyone used spellbinders dies in a cuttlebug machine? is there a special thing i need to do this?
