Just realised that step 3 does not say add Acrylic medium such as Diamond Glaze or Crystal Lacquer, sorry about that!!

Christien I can't wait to hear what you think and see what you use them on.

 

BTW, I did make a couple of these without the paper, just added glue to a non-stick sheet and while it did work there are 2 things to keep in mind:

 

1 You could have areas that have no glitter and what you use it on shows through as a result.  Takes away from the jewel effect IMO, just paint the bottom with a permanent marker of some sort if you don't like this.

 

2 They are much more fragile without a cardstock base and you have to take extra care they don't get bent or broken.
