Has anyone here tried the new Flowersoft product?

I inderstand its like fun flock (sort of) but with more texture. It comes in quite a few colors and I've seen it used with stamped images to give flowers more dimemsion. But I've only seen photos. I wondered what it looks like in real life.

Have you tried it? What do you think?

Have not tried it yet but, I really want to. My lss is not going to carry it so if I want some I am going to have to buy it online.
Flower soft is pretty fun. Its different than flock. Flock makes things look like velvet where flower soft looks more like minature foliage (like you would find with miniatures and model trains) its sort of spongy. Here is a direct link to some cards in our gallery that use flower soft products. If you scroll down to the picture with the hat on the bench and then click it, it will enlarge and you can get a really good idea of what it looks like super sized.

If you do decide to get it, consider getting a few solid colors and the shamrock green. If you get the solid colors you can make several combinations of mixes. If you just get the mix then you are stuck with just that mix. Either way though you will find alot of use for the shamrock green. Its good for trees, plants, bottoms of floral bouquets, wreaths and grass (there is a sample of it used for a grassy mound in that link above). They are making smaller sampler sets which makes getting a bunch of colors more affordable. The brights set has the shamrock green in it. The pastels set has the pale green. Im a big fan of the brights personally.
Thanks for the suggestion. I just ordered some from the Flower Soft website. I ordered the Heather mix and the Shamrock Green. I also ordered some of the wires, because they are so inexpensive. I passed on the glue, because all that appears to be is Aileen's Tacky Glue, which I already have. It looks like a lot of fun.
OK. It arrived yesterday! I'll try to post some cards/pages after I've "played" a little. :)
I *LOOOOVE* Flower Soft! I discovered them last year at a local craft convention and was just completely blown away by it. I saw them again at CHA and they've definitely gained a lot more interest! It's just an awesome and really easy way to to add some dimension and just that little bit of extra oomph to any project where it would otherwise look plain!

I've been trying to find different ways to use them other than for flowers although that's what they're best for. My friend Marti from Pez-a-Doodle Designs has even though to use them for cake stamps which looked totally cool because the texture of flower soft really did make the cake part of the stamp look spongy like cake!

Here are a couple cards that I've made using Flower Soft since I saw them at CHA:

Sorry for the blur on this one...the paper I used was really shimmery and just wouldn't photograph right. But there is one of the vases that comes with the flower soft kits (kits can be found at http://www.pezadoodle.com) as well as the wire and flower soft technique.

There's more flower soft projects on my blog if you'd like to have a look, including where I re-coloured my flower soft using alcohol ink!
So beautiful cards!!! Flower soft looks so delicate there!
I am seeing it everywhere and Everyone seems to be having so much fun with it.. I too would be interested to know how easy it is to work with.
I have only used it inside a shaker card so far. But it comes in very pretty colors!

Here is my shaker card:

I like using it just to add highlights and dimension to stamped images. Its just like sponge that has been through a very fine blender and lasts AGES!
Love this!
I haven't tried this yet but after seeing some of the projects, I'm going to have to find some. Does anyone know if Michael's or Hobby Lobby sells this?
It's just fabby and lots of fun. A little goes a long way. I just added some to my card today. You can see it on my page here or at creations by louby loo
