I want to make either one of these cards, please help!!

For the first picture I don't really know how to do the hearts the way they are inter twined like that and in both cards the '&' design is so cool but again I don't know how to do that. I would appreciate any help please!!

Hi Aneesa,

This is what I would do.  I took the pic and using my photo studio  took away colour.

Then I would   insert it into a word document and make it the size of the desired card.

Cut away the edges (you will need to tidy it up as this was a quick version for you) to give you  a Template and then

trace that onto the card stock you  want to use.

You would then have to use a craft knife to cut away the heart's middle.

For the embossed part of the hearts and  & I would trace them off and transfer them to the card stock of the card. Then using an embossing pen quickly go over all the parts that need embossing and then apply embossing powder.

Then heat and emboss.

If you have a heart stamp  or  entwined heart punch perhaps you  could use them rather then have to free hand cut out and emboss.

I hope that gives you some inspiratation. :0)

Thanks Vicky, I am going to give your idea a try. I got a heart punch, it isn't the linked hearts so I will have to make them separate and let the creative juices flow. I don't enjoy heat embossing much because I am really quite bad at it but I suppose that's the only way to get my '&' design!!

Free hand cutting is not an option coz someone is asking me for 100 invites eeeeck! Thanks again

oh my!!! I don't envy you!!! good luck.

I'd love to see your finished product when your done :0)

Hi Aneesa, Just wondering how you are getting on. I just thought of another way to make it easier and quicker for you. Do you  have a cuttlebug  and a cricut or know someone who does?  You could make an embossing folder using the cricut!!!!! and then just use your heart  punch for the holes :0)
Hey, thanks for checking back. I am going to try this out tmr, I bought a solitary heart punch and going to do it like the black invite I attached. I don't have a cuttlebug or cricut. I have an epic 6 so I was going to try and see if I can make stencil out of it, n then make the embossing folder. Have to try a few different ways but I'll keep you posted!

Sounds like a plan! I hope it works out for you. Looking forward to seeing the end result :0)

trace the hearts and fussy cut them-meaning use a precision knife, would work great, just take time
