Paper Craft Planet

Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Hello friends!

I received a very sad email last week from a craft blog I follow about Max, a 12-year-old boy who has been fighting leukemia for half of his life. The doctors recently told Max's parents to enjoy the time they have left with their son, and Max has one wish. His wish is to get 1 million cards. I do not know Max, but I am inviting you all to help me in making his wish come true. If you would like to help Max get his wish, please send a get well card to the following address:

Mighty Max Low

C/O Greg and Bambi Low

PO Box 111

Neola, IA   51559

This link will take you to Pink Cricut where you can find a little more information on Mighty Max Low:  http://www.pinkcricut.com/2011/03/mighty-max/

Anyone and everyone is welcome to send a card, it does not have to be handmade. A bought card with a simple "Get Well Soon" written in it will mean so much to Max.

Thank you!

I can do either method. I hope others will join me in posting pics. I hope this will inspire more to join and make cards for this brave little soul. I have sent my first card and hope to do one a week until he reaches his dream number.

Josie, that's so sweet! I think it would be great to see Max's cards in here, and I hope we will see many others. I can't wait to see what you make each week!

Card already sent from here to Max - thanks  for sharing this request BreAnn

I made another card for Max today which I will mail on Wed. I hope he gets one everyday from Paper Craft Planet members.

That's great. the more the merrier for Max.

I am sending a card to Max, A big High five!

Nice card. Should put a smile on his face.
OMG I'm so moved by this. I will certainly aim to get a card out to him.
Wonderful. It will be greatly appreciated.
I've posted Max's story to my blog, FB pages, a craft forum I'm a member of and another forum. I don't have children myself, may never be blessed with them and so I always do what I can to support children. I've the perfect card I can send to him.
Don't forget to post it here first. I forgot to post my first card. Hope you will be blessed with children. They can be a hand full, but well worth it.I have 5 myself. There were days I could have throttled one.
