I saw it demonstrated at CHA last year, and actually am attending a card class tomorrow evening where the slice will be used, so I'll report back later. I can't really recall all the features that it has at the moment, but I bet you could find lots of information about it on the MM website.

I have a cricut so I'm not sure (unless I'm completely WOW'd tomorrow) that I would spend the $$.
Hi Eli, I have a Slice and so far I like what it does. It is cheaper than the Cricut and smaller. You put the design card (which comes with a little pamplet showing what shapes/designs etc are included) in the slot on the machine, select the design and have a range of size options from there (generally from 1" to 4"). I got the starter kit which contains everything you need to get going, plus two addidional design cards and some extra blades.
I found it easy to use. I've cut some alphabets and a bunch of shapes. It cuts cardstock - but it cannot cut chipboard or very thick cardstock. You cannot upload designs from your computer. I think if you google Slice you will find a short video tutorial by MM.
I have look at the video, you tube and MM, but I want tohear what people who use it mean. So you think I have to buy one og this Slice machine... And design cards it`s easy to buy, many of design cards ore it few? I didn`t see this machine in Norway yet, but soon I think. The price, do you know?
I look forward to came to NY and all of this things, in Norway everything is so expensive.....

If you go to www.whyslice.com it is the homesite for the slice and you can learn all about the demo's and products Hope this helps I just got mine and I really like it
If you want to see me in action with the Slice machine, look in my blog, http://scrapkia.blogspot.com/ I think the video is on page two.
Another one who loves her Slice! :D I love Making Memories designs, so that was a big reason why I bought it. I still love my Silhouette and will be buying a Cricut Expression, but I know I will use them all. I love just what they can all do. I would say, if you like the designs that Making Memories comes out with, you should get this machine. It's worth it!
I have cricut, too but am wondering about the slice for portability...it looks like it's pretty small and easy to take to crops and classes!
I didn`t like my Slice. I think the cut its not so good, Slice didn`t cut so nice, and I`m so disapoint........ But maybe it`s me...
