Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Hi all,

This is going to sound like a dumb question but I need some help! :)

I have some Spellbinders Nestabilities dies and I can not for the life of me figure out how to emboss with them. If someone could help explain how they work, I would really appreciate it. I can cut with them no problem, but haven't quite figured out the technique required to emboss!

Thanks! :)

What kind of machine are you using? Big Shot, Cuttlebug, Sizzix?
I have the Cuttlebug
Try this link: http://ellenhutson.typepad.com/ellen_hutson_simple_dream/2007/07/ne... Ellen Hutson has sandwich recipes for just about everything. To emboss, however, you will need the tan embossing mat, or something similar.
Thanks Lynn! Very helpful link, I'll give Ellen's directions a try! :)
Hey Denise, I have an extra tan mat....if ya want it?
What do you use the embossing for? I'd love to see pictures of the embossing after it's done. I really only use mine for cutting but would love some embossing inspiration
Here is a little card I made with embossing around the image, using the Nestabilities
oh yeah...you can click on the image to see it up closer.
Thanks Lynn
Yes you have to add the mat, I have also realized for my Cuttlebug I needed to add a few extra pieces of cardstock to get a nice crisp embossed image.
