feathered friends are always a great themed challenge. However, I was reading the rules, and we need to post the badge on our blog, to qualify as one of the stipulations. What if we don't have a blog?

I didn't make this especially for the challenge but I thought you might like to see it. This is my 2012 New Year card, featuring my favorite bird, the starling. Not many people's favorite bird I know but I have two living in my house and I love them. They are wonderful birds when you get to know them - great talkers, friendly, curious, playful, full of fun.

Carolyn that is an awesome card! I had a penpal in Canada who had a Starling, it was an abandoned baby and she too said that it was so smart etc. I forgot what she called it as it was years ago. I would probably have more affinity for them if they didn't displace Bluebirds although in my experience House Sparrows are far worse for killing BBs in the nestbox.
