Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Good morning.

I have been stamping on paper tissue to decorate candles. I have seen where some people are using digi images and their only direction is: I print my digi on tissue paper. Does anyone know how to get the tissue paper through the printer without tearing it to shreds?

Thank you!

Put the tissue paper on a sheet of printer paper and tape down on the back. Then run it through the printer.
Thank you! I ended up gluing the corners to card stock and it worked great! TY for taking the time to answer!
could you iron it to freezer paper and then cut to paper size and run thru your printer?

I have heard that you have to tape the tissue paper down to the cardstock. I am not sure how exactly that works or how well it works, never tried it but thought I'd pass it on. Good Luck

I know you have gotten the answer to this, but I've done this several times with great results.  Tape all the way around the tissue onto a sheet of regular printer paper.  Set your printer to print on transparency, so that it doesn't over saturate the tissue with ink.  Here's a great video by Heidi Swapp on how to do this:  http://heidiswapp.typepad.com/my_weblog/2009/12/ok-make-candles.html
