Scrappy Sunday 11/1/09
I'm baaack!! Did ya miss me last week? Looks like Amy did a fantastic job of holding down the fort while I was on Oahu for some continuing education for work (ick!!). Thank you Amy!! Well, I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween yesterday. This was the first year my son (2-yr-old Dean) went Trick-or-Treating and we got some cute photos. He was NOT into the idea of wearing a costume at all!! It was funny. He was all about seeing other kids dressed up, but didn't want anything to do with putting on a costume himself. Finally, about mid-week, he decided he wanted to be a football player. Fortunately, as Oklahoma alumni and HUGE Sooner fans (my husband wrestled for the Sooners!), we had a toddler sized OU Jersey that would be perfect. This is the same kid who refuses to wear any kind of hat, long sleeves, long pants or any type of shoe other than rubber slippers (flip flops) - it's a good thing we live on Maui where it's warm year-round or he'd be in trouble!!
Anyway, the sketch is a little late posting this week because I wanted to scrap our Halloween photos for my sample layout!!
Here's a look at the sketch, it was heavily inspired by THIS LAYOUT in the Sweet Shoppe gallery (which is actually WAY better than my sample page, so be sure to check it out!!):
If you play along, be sure to use the tag sb110109 (all lower case) so we can find your layouts to pull into the gallery! And remember, all forms of scrapbooking - traditional, digi and hybrid are welcome!! As always, feel free to flip or rotate the sketch or add or remove layers as needed, just as long as the original layout design is recognizable!!
