I'd go with the Silhouette! I bought mine in May of 2009. I so far have over 3000 images! If you get the one year subscription to their image library the total cost is like 70.00 for a year.
You get the 1st 6 months free, then you pay 14.99 a month for the last 6 months.
Their whole year subscription is the cost of one Circuit Cartridge!
I'm only at my 6th month and as I said..I have over 3000 images so far. And all the images you download you keep forever!
I love my Silhouette!
hey barb..ty for your input..i'm thinking that the Silhouette is the way to go..been hearing all good things..and appreciate any input like yours..loves ya
I love my cricut, especailly using sure cuts a lot program with it, so you can use your own fonts and pictures, and i make my matts last for ages by making them sticky again.
I have both machines. Some things the cricut is good for and others the silhouette. There still is an ongoing cost to buy either images or cartridges. I use my silhouette more though. and you can find clip art on the net to download and use if your nifty on the computer
