I can't upload any pic's on my page. The circle just keeps spinning,spinning etc.No camera comes up. I just tried the Flickr app.I have used that before here & is very quick. I went thru the memu prompt x2. All I get is a blank screen & message done x2.
I need to upload my card to ABC group for a challenge.
I know it's not my computor,I have no problems on Little Paper shop another Ning n/work

You know -- I still bet that it's a browser issue. Sometimes certain browser plug-ins will lock up the uploader. Can you try using something like Firefox if you use Internet Explorer or Safari?

If that doesn't work, or if you'd want to skip the middle man (that's me!), click on over to www.help.ning.com, scroll to the bottom of the page and contact technical support.
I just wanted to pipe in and mention that I am experiencing the same issue. I've tried multiple browsers and also have no trouble getting on another Ning site, Scrapbook News and Review. Please come back and share your experience if you see a resolution as I await a response from Ning. Thanks for your help! :)
Anita -- you may want to try to contact them directly too. It's usually best if they hear from several people otherwise they will suspect it's one user. Let me know what they say!

Susanna- I did contact Ning this morning with a very detailed and thorough inquiry and am awaiting a response. I have been in contact with Kathy, the owner of the Pixie Dust Studio group, who is also having troubles. I don't think we are the only ones affected here. I thought the Ning help area seemed more geared towards helping site owners and not group members and was somewhat difficult to navigate, but perhaps that's just me. If anybody needs support on how to submit a request for help to Ning or wants to see an example of what I sent, please don't hesitate to contact me. Hugs to everybody who is being impacted by this! :)
I always tell people to scroll past all the options to the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page and fill out the contact form. The help area is geared at site creators, but since we don't have access to the back end of the software for the site, it has be tech support for members too.

Personally, I'm hoping now that they are moving to a paid site format only that tech support team will become more responsive and we'll get some site improvements focused on larger sites. (For instance, our photo area is a mess)
Here is the feedback that I received from Ning:

1. Make sure that Javascript is enabled on your browser. You can learn how to enable JavaScript in this tutorial from the Ning Help Center: http://help.ning.com/?faq=3062

2. Make sure that you have the latest version of Flash installed in your browser. You can install Flash Player for free by going to this website: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

If these don't work, please try using a clean instance of Firefox to access your Ning Network. It's possible that extensions or add ons are causing an issue. You can learn how to create a new instance of Firefox here: http://help.ning.com/cgi-bin/ning.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faq...

I was able to upload a photo to "My Photos" today from my computer.  But when I try to upload a photo to a challenge (Bugaboo Wacky Wednesday) it won't load.  All I get is the spinning wheel but the photo never pops up.  Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks!
What is the format of the picture?  I made the mistake of trying to upload something in "RAW" the other day and had the same thing happen.  If it's a straight jpg, it should go right in.  Can you try again and let me know if you're still having trouble?
It's a jpg.  I tried to load the photo into this reply and it still doesn't work.  I tried to load it twice and the first time I had a pop-up that stated  "Do you want to open or save CAH5NLN8 from www.papercraftplanet.com" .  The second time I tried to load it I received a pop-up that stated "Do you want to open or save CADA5UC9 from www.papercraftplanet.com".  When I clicked on the CAH5NLN8 and CADA6UC9 there's nothing there.  I can load my photo to my blog, my DT blog, and "My Photos" here on PCP.  Just can't load it to a "reply" .  Thanks for any suggestions. 
Thought I'd try one more time.  Well, it stil won't let me upload my photo to the reply but it did allow me to attach it.

Testing... on Firefox browser.  I think that may be the problem... which browser are you using?

Just to clarify, the gallery is working fine for you, but you can't upload your pictures in a discussion -- for instance, in a group? 

 

What is linked in your post is actually an html image capture -- not a jpg.  You can click on it and see the picture, but you can't download it and save it.
