Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Hello ladies...and gents if you're out there! My name is Silvia and I'll be your guest hostess for the day! I am honored to have been asked!

Todays challenge for you is to make a necklace or accent piece from a metal washer...these washers can be found at your local hardware store...I love them because they are inexpensive and super cute!

Here is a link to a you Tube Video on how to make these metal washer jewlery...but it's very simple.  And here is another one of the DIY network

You can make any craft with these, you can choose to make a pair of earings or a necklace or a bracelet...this project is perfect for making good use of the scraps you might have laying around!

I can't wait to see what you come up with! When you make your project please be sure to use key word 3d68 so we can all see your gorgeous creation!

Materials used:

Metal washer

Designer paper

Mono Multi 2 way glue pen

Sand paper

Leather cord

Beads

Crystal Effects or Diamond Glaze

Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Oh what a great project! Thanks for finding that for us to try!! Now I need to get some washers :)
Silvia - This is gorgeous! I'll have to hit my husband's mancave for some washers!
Silvia, Great job with this necklace! I'm sure we have washers in the garage and I just bought some leather strips. Your strip is much nicer, though. Mine are more square-ish.
I agree, Lyn, THIS IS A GORGEOUS project. I can't wait to see how it turns out. DD will want to try it next no doubt.

Oh man, mine is drying. Patience is not one of my better virtues, but I had to tell you how funny it was in the hardware section today asking if they had any bigger sizes of washers ... "well, this is a standard size, what do you need it for". I told him, & he stood there for about 10 seconds with his mouth open & said nothing. LOL

Patiently, patiently waiting ... hopefully will be posted in a couple of days.

Amy - Your washer looks gorgeous from this angle!
Hahahaha Amy! We crafters will go to any lengths! I love the paper you have used!
OH My!!! THIS is cool! I collected such stuff for years, but never had such a pretty idea. THANKS!
It dried faster than I thought. Only 24 hours, because I glued it all at the same time. (Using diamond glaze for the Paper onto the washer & the top glaze), no problems.

I am so making more of these! Thanks Silvia!

Oh yes, here it is, finished!
OMG, how cool is that?? I love it.
Hi Silvia! Thanks for this great project. I just uploaded mine.
