Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

This week's 3D Tuesday Challenge is to make this 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" x 1" framed box. This started out as a regular box, but I got to thinking that it would be more useful if I added a slot for a photo, gift card, or whatever you might want to frame. The red frame box above is holding a gift card for a Christmas present. I'm still not sure what to put inside of it, but it's large enough for candies, cookies, gift tags....

I've included a template and tutorial (download below) for this box in PDF (print and cut method), SVG and DXF files (for use with cutting machines). I hope you can play along because I'd love to see how you decorate this. Upload your photo (click here for instructions) to PCP and be sure to tag your photo 3d77. (This template is available for a limited time after which you will find it here.)

Important: The PDF format requires the latest free version of Adobe Reader to open the files correctly.  You can download Adobe Reader HERE.

Another fab project Adela!!!!!
Such a beautiful gift idea, Adela!
i really love this little box but i must have misunderstood. is there an opening in the front to show the pic you can add under that little flap???because when i cut one out there was no opening. i just thought there was one. but i still love the box and will find many uses for it with christmas coming up so fast.
Hi Colleen! Yes, there is a rectangular opening for the photo or gift card to show through. Try uploading the latest (free) version of Adobe Reader. Sometimes that's all you need to have pdf files open correctly. Good Luck!

It's Monday night, but I managed to get at the challenge this week! It was a very quick & easy template to put together. Thanks again, Adela! Such a fun template.
Hey, Adela! Thanks for the free template! But where is the pdf template? I only see the svg and dxf templates and the pdf instructions! Where is the pdf template? Thanks a lot!
Hi! The pdf template is on the last page of the pdf instructions file. Make sure you have the latest Adobe Reader version (9.3), though.
Thanks!
