Hello, I have just finished this card made from many used items, some free!
The BG paper is from a free wallpaper sample book, (as is the matching envelope I made) and all the flowers except one I made myself from old synthetic clothing, thats where I got the lace from too. The one flower I did not make was a silk flower....a used bunch of them, which I took apart and put back together differently.
Some of the beads where from a job lot of mixed beads I bought again, used.

Have a great weekend everyone

Would you like to be in the Create It -GREEN design team?

I'm looking for 9 members to be on a design team (3 card, 3 layout and 3 altered projects). I will be posting a monthly card and layout sketch and would like to have some inspiring GREEN projects to post with the sketches. As well, I'd like to have 3 altered projects to post monthly.(When I say GREEN, I mean a recycled, repurposed or reused item)

Check out our blog here: http://createitgreen.blogspot.com/

I am really looking forward to being in this group! All this week I posted cards on my blog (www.paushdesign.blogspot.com) that I created using tiny scraps I would have otherwise tossed out - it was a great exercise and resulted in some of my favorite cards!. I also saw on Ali Edwards' blog this week a great tutorial for doing a Starbucks coffee cup mini book http://aliedwards.typepad.com/_a_/2009/10/tuesday-tutorials-wilna-f...

I just had to share this fab idea of recycling used FedEx boxes into Halloween gravestones! It's never too early to think about Halloween!
