Wk 29 - Got something different for you again this week

Right then my little sugar addicts, thought I'd try you with something different this week, just to keep those brain cells of yours working hard, keep your crafting brain healthy, this week is something I;ve wanted to try since I saw it on Donaldas blog ages ago, way back in June I saw this and thought I so need to have a go at that, and now that christmas is just around the corner I thought these would make great cards to go in the boys teachers present bags.

I would love to see you all make these TEALIGHT CANDLE CARDS.

They look so much more difficult than they actually are, believe me, I thought it was going to be harder than it was and was stunned at the simplicity of them.

And CLICK HERE for a link to the template instrucions, I really want to see what you all come up with, it really is easy

I'm off to download my piccie, I used scented candles in mine and it smells soooo good

OMG - Fiona this is absolutely gorgeous!! I have wanted to do a project with tealights - so this is perfecto!! Off to view the tutorial.

this tutorial looks great but in the USA we use inches anyone want to convert for those of use who stink at math.

thanks cause i really would like to do this. i picked out the three stamps i want i went with

snowman juggler
going places
outdoor adventure

thought about miss clause for a bit but i try to get stamps i can use all year but the snowman are so cute.

That's odd - the other one which I said it looks better than has disappeared - I wasn't saying the one I linked to was better than Fiona's it was better than the FIRST one I mentioned ( which seems to have vanished from here) - oh dear I did make a hash of that ------so so sorry.

this is awesome i have just been and bought some candles to try this out and then you challenge us with it how funny is that.I love how you have decorated the inside aswell as the front it makes it real special xx

Fiona, this is simply adorable!! I LOVE the whole card - inside, outside and sideways! lol Now, it appears as though you have 5 tealights in this gift card - I know I have a tutorial somewhere for a box for three tealights - so, perhaps I can figure out how to do a card using INCHES! I did notice the tutorial was in cm too - and I used a converter - but the inch conversion doesn't come across clean, so I am going to figure this one out and will let those that use inches know my dimensions. GREAT Challenge!!
