French Flight is the newest addition to Artistic Outpost's catalogue of unique vintage inspired stamp collections.

In the late 1700's , two French brothers, Joseph and Etienne Montgolfier launched the first manned balloon from the from the center of Paris and flew for a period of 20 minutes.  In 1793, Jean Pierre Blanchard became the first to fly a hot air balloon in North America, yet another French adventurer!

This stamp collection pays homage to these adventurers. Fun and quirky, with a little bit of steampunk thrown in for good measure, French Flight is pure creative delight.

 

This collection is now available in our store, in both unmounted rubber sheets or pre-mounted on EZMount cling foam and hand trimmed on a clear cling storage card!

October is always a special month at Artistic Outpost.


First, it's autumn, and where we live along the Mississippi Delta, we yearn for the cooler temperatures and the falling leaves just as much as the Tin Man years for a heart.


Second, it's our anniversary month. We opened our "doors" 3 years ago, and it is so hard to believe how time truly does fly. Thanks to the many of you that found us in the very beginning and have continued to inspire us all along the way. We love our customers, and we continue to be amazed by each and every one of you.

Third, and most importantly, we are releasing a new collection of stamps inspired by Dorothy and Toto in that wonderful land of Oz. Oz Collage features everything that we love about that whimsical tale: the Tin Man, the ruby slippers, the Scarecrow, and of course Dorothy and Toto. Who doesn't love a good story with a lot of fantasy and a hint of quirk? Ok, so with Alice in Wonderland, you get more than a hint of quirk, you get a whole load of zany with a hint of logician philosophy.
We've pulled together some of the most zany iconic images from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, to bring to you a fun collaged set of Alice-themed stamps.

The Wonderland Collage Collection by Artistic Outpost features unique images including the White Queen and the Dodo characters as well as an ATC sized White Rabbit collage. This set is available in unmounted sheets and mounted on EZMount cling foam with indexed storage sheet.
