Have you seen those £2 or $2 mirrors they do in Ikea??!!

~I tore up the book pages and glued them all over the mirror using a wet glue.
~Before the glue was dry I daubed purple and lilac Distress inks over the paper-the moisture from the glue made the inks bleed and spread into one another giving a nice soft effect (light spray of water does this too!)
~Once everything had dried I stamped the Moth and Cherry blossom stamps randomly over the frame in black ink.
~I coloured my lace with some Distress ink to make it 'go' with the frame then stuck it in place with DS tape.
~I added brads to the Prima Flowers and glued them onto the frame and added the Prima crystals.
~ I cut my die cut letters (QuicKutz Eliza) and glittered them with Distress glitter for a more vintage look and added those to the mirror.
~Finally I stamped, coloured and cut out my Bombshells and Moths which I added to the Mirror- pride of place!

Wow!

This is just jaw-droppingly incredible. I love the soft colors and how serene and vintage it is. WOW!!!!!

Did you use purple paint, ink and spray or a different combo.

I'm beyond impressed; you rocked this.

*sigh* Such a blonde today.

I just saw your instructions and understand how you did all the purple parts.

Sorry for the dumb question.

WOW!!!

This freakin' rocks. I love all the wonderful details. I also love the Pin-Ups in pastelly shades. Very cool.

Moths? Aren't those butterflies? I need to get me some of those for sure! :D

You should post this over at SCS. They have a "Text" challenge going on over there (challenges section).

So, now you can look in your mirror and say,
"Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who's the hottest Bombshell
of them all?!?"

BTW, you've inspired me. I have two dollar store frames that I've been waiting to decorate!
