Did I say fun ya we rock, get crazy sometimes and just create up a storm.

I don't think I've done this yet, introduce myself...so now is the time.
My name is Kate, I live in the midwest or upper midwest. I am married to a wonderfully patient man, Bill who is a chef/cook/baker. We have two grown sons, one of whom is going to bless me with the only other woman in this family, by getting married in November in Nashville. Anyone from Nashville, TN? We also have two adorable four legged sons, who are beagles and are my art buddies, no matter what the art, they are under foot, waiting for something to drop off the table, so we can play a game of drop and run....very fun .... NOT.
I used to teach elementary school, one of my three dreams in life, but became disabled after 14 years. No it wasn't the kids or parents, it was just circumtances. So with that, I had to find something to do. My mother gave me a rubber stamp for stamping kids papers, and in needing a birthday card, I used that stamp and was hooked. Now my diningroom is my craft room, and the joke is occassionally we eat in there too. I took many classes this winter, winter is long in our area.
But the classes were in Art Journaling, Wire Jewelry Making and knitting..... now I have to spend my time between the four things, stamping, AJ , jewelry and knitting....whew, there are definitely not enough hours in a day!
Other than all of that, I manage to squeak in swimming, dieting (lost 70 lbs in the last 2 years, all on my own), cooking, writing and just being still. We plan to be moving across state in the next 18 months to enjoy the hills and mountains....can't stand prairie anymore. So life is good.
