I have the "old fashion" dies that you see in schools and Scrapbooking stores. They are heavy wooden things with blades that cut the shape you want and place score lines where they need to go...VERY NICE when you have a lot of something to make! But, very costly. There are cheaper versions on the market now but I can have a custom die made for my machine to make just about any box I want... can't do that with the cheaper versions. I am including pictures of the die cut machine ... orange circle around it, and the other picture is of some of my dies....and cardstock. Not too sure which is which because I can't see what I loaded here...as soon as I hit "Add Comment" I'll be able to see it.

Now that one is awesome. "Someday my price will come"! I believe it! :o) Nancy how did you make die cuts, what material...just curious? I only started with paper crafts in 2007 after reading a book where one of the characters was an illustrator for a greeting card company. I thought it would be fun to send out Christmas cards in that particular year and look at where I am now. :o)

So glad to see there's someone out there! I went by your blog...CUTE STUFF!!! I used to sell diecuts (before everybody and their brother could cut their own) and I had the post-it cover...so you inspired me to want to make a few yesterday and would you believe I sold that die! ARGH! I guess I'll have to make them the old fashion way!
Here is another card I made this week (sorry for the terrible picture) based on the scripture:
Matthew 24:30"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

I love the hope in that! Funny thing is, I was claiming it for my ex-husband before he was an ex... but what I found out was, it was MY HEART the Lord wanted to work on! HA! WHO KNEW!!!
OH! I would love for your guys to visit my "Life Lessons" blog! I have 3 but that's the one that will speak more to this group I think... The other 2 are about "What I Do" this one is about "Who I AM" and the lessons I have learned
