Paper Craft Planet

Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Hello to all of you Crafty Secrets lovers.  I am so excited, Jan has invited me to be your co-hostesses for the bi-weekly Heartwarming Vintage/Crafty Secrets challenges.   Today I will be jumping in feet first as Jan says, and I plan to make a good landing, ha ha.    I hope you will join us for this challenge to CREATE A GIFT CARD HOLDER.  It can be made from card stock, metal, anything that inspires you, your choice, just as long as you can slip a gift card in it.   I thought with Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Graduations just around the corner we would all get some use out of them.
Double trouble for the winner!  Jan is giving 2 shadowbox diecuts for the winner of the challenge and I am giving 2 gift card holders, my inspiration piece and 1 other from my blog, I'll let you choose!
For this challenge please use the keyword HVCS041710 so Jan & I can see your creations and leave you some sweet comments!  The deadline is Sunday May 2.  Have a great weekend and we can't wait to see what you create.  Oh, and don't forget to invite your friends!

This is so cute Jan! Your gal looks adorable holding that ticket, and the gift card nestles in perfectly!
Beautiful Deborah, I love all the embellishments you added. Your tiny tea roses are beautiful and I love the bundle of love letters on the inside. So glad you joined us for the challenge.

Here is my Gift card holder purse. I made a card in the of a purse then put the card holder on the inside. The sentiment reads "I want it all and I want it delivered' by Clear Arts. This is going to perfect for Mom!
Barbara, Your purse gift holder is adorable...like how the front flap is shaped! The sentiment is a real hoot, too! I tried your link a few times and it tells me "the page is unavailable". But, I looked for it with key words and found it!! :)
Thanks for playing along again this week! Stay tuned another fun challenge coming soon :)

Hi Gals,
I'm wondering if Diane is going to pick her favorite card holder or if she'll throw all the names in the hat and draw one! It would be so hard for me to pick a favorite cause they're all so amazing!!!
Well see tomorrow!
Good Morning ladies. Cynthia your gift card holder is gorgeous! I love the little dash of glitter you added to the front too. And Jan you are right, I love them all actually, and it is totally impossible to choose just 1 favorite! I put your names in a box, shook it up and drum roll please*-*-*-* LeAnne, your name came up! Please contact me at 1cardcreator@luckymail.com with your address information.
I just want to say thank you to everyone who played along, all of your gift card holders were both amazing and inspiring. You are such a talented group, you made it so much fun for my first week here, thank you.
Jan's challenge is an exciting one this week, I need to put the finishing touches on mine and get it photographed and up. I can't wait to see what everyone creates. Happy Scrapbooking Day!
