I'll start the ball rolling.
Nail polish - great for changing the colour of brads, buttons etc.
Old eye shadows - use as you would chalks.
These might be common but I'll put them here anyways:

Cereal boxes as chipboard
scrap cardstock instead of pop dots ( I cut about 4 strips of scrap paper and glue them on top of ea. other)
recycle baby food jars for storing or gifting. (we got a baby in the house so I'm definitely using this one)
gifts/ presents
I use the backs of the boxers they come in for papers for scrapbooking or cards.
I also us them as storage for pens, brads ect
Clear nail varnish to add that glossy look to your finished project
Lesley
Save embossing powder containers for tiny beads, pearls etc.
Over the past number of years I have had to made Christmas cards for people in far off lands so have a wee collection of how to say happy Christmas in different languages:

Welsh - Nadolig Llawen
Swedish - God Jul!
Spanish - Felices Fiestas or Feliz Navidad
Dutch - Prettige Kerstfeest!
Irish - Nollaig Shona Dhuit
German - Fröhliche Weihnachten
Hindi - Bara Din Mubarack
Punches that jam on you!! Hate that.
Try rubbing a sheet of paper on both sides with a candle then put in punches and press a few times. It really does work.
Some people have tried putting them in the fridge before using them. Haven't tried this one though.
Ink your stamp with Versamark ink before using Stazon, Brilliance inks or any other difficult to clean ink. Makes it much easier to clean your stamps!
When I am stuck for a matching colour of card to matt my images onto I use the same colour promarker or copic marker, just run it round the edges using a ruler for a straight line and voila...a matching edge!
You probably all know this one but I had to learn the hard way!! When storing your copic and promarkers be sure and store them horizontally. I kept mine in their plastic storage boxes upright and always wondered why they run out so quickly!! Believe me they do last longer stored flat.
Didn't know this one! I store mine vertically - right off to change that!
I use packing paper or card that my post comes in, it's great for your 'kraft' needs. I also keep the card that comes in the middle of wrapping paper.
Great recycling idea Heather, thanks for that.
