Okay I thought it would be great to have a discussion on cameras and taking pictures of your cards and creations for putting on your blogs and into galleries.
It would be great if everyone could let us know what types of cameras they use, how to get good lighting, how to get good close up pictures and different 'angles' and how to "correct" photos using editing programs.
Any tips really that would be helpful to us all !!
I think this could be a great resource for current group members as well as new members.
Also tips on how to resize photos for putting on the web and not losing quality (Chris would be an expert here!!!) LOL I am so hopeless at this I'm sure I put too large size pics on my blog!!!
So let's get started and can't wait to hear what you all suggest!!

Currently I just use my "Microsoft Office Picture Manager Programme" and use the "compress pictures" option when I am editing my photos or cropping them or playing with the light/darl/colour contrast - do other people us this to eidt as well??
What sort of camera does everyone have??
I just have a Canon Digital IVUS55 - a few years old now - and I don't really understand any bits but it says 5.0 mega pixels and zoom lens x 3. LOL I am so dumb I didn't even know about the "macro" setting until my sister told me about it to take a close up of a small object - of course now I use it all the time!!!!
I also get frustrated with correct lighting LOL and a lot of the time I take pictures at night as that's the only time I have!
