CS Designs Resourceful Recycling and Fabulous Finds.

When we first started this group we had a discussion called Resourceful Recycling and Fabulous Finds but unfortunately through one of those ever mysterious glitches of cyberspace it miraculously disappeared. This discussion was a wealth of useful information which many of our member contributed to, unfortunately there is no way to get it back but it was such a helpful resource tool that I decided to create it again. There are so many things that get thrown away every day that would make wonderful elements for our art and sometimes it just takes a bit of imagination and ingenuity to see the possibilities.

What exactly is:
Resourceful Recycling? Anything that was not originally created for the purpose of crafting.
Fabulous Finds? Where to find unusual materials

If you use things in your own art that fit into this category, please tell us all about it. We would also love to see your examples so please tell us what you used, where you found it and how you adapted it for your art.

Gina K. designs suggested using pop can tabs to thread ribbon through. Great idea!! With this card, if I upload it right, I used an old earring to thread the ribbon through. Also delve into my mother's button box for retro buttons to add for embellies:) Who says you have to buy new???
