Newspaper Flower

 I used the circle scallop die (Spellbinders).  I cut about 8 (didn't count) layers with two punches of the die.  Then put them together with a brad in the center.  With the layers matched up. I cut a slit between each scallop toward the center.  Many of the slits are not straight as  you have to be careful not to cut off the petals.  Afterward I just squish TO the center from all directions.  This will almost cover the brad so you can't see it.  Just keep working- squishing it together until you are happy.  If you try this with other than newspaper, let us know and how it came out.

The following flowers were made with the Spellbinder "Flower Creations 2 set of die cuts - the set comes with various flower shapes & swirls which I just layer and play around with.
