I and the members of my Design Team would really like to get to know all of you a little better so hope you will share a bit about your creative side with us. After you tell us all the cool and amazing things about your art, I hope you will add your link at the bottom of your post so we can all come and visit you. Below are just some examples of things we would be excited to know about you. These are only examples so just use them as a guide and only answer them if you wish. Anything you want to share with us would be great.
How did you become interested in art and how long have you been doing it?
Do you consider yourself a pro, average or novice?
What do you think makes your art different from everyone else’s?
How often do you create something and what do you do with it?
Do you usually purchase digital stamps or do you use mostly freebies?
Are you strictly a card maker, scrapbooker or do you venture on to other things?
What are your favorite toys to create with, do you have a digital cutter, Cuttlebug etc?
What is the one thing you can’t live with out in your creations, Layering, distressing, flowers, ribbon, lace, buttons, are you a glitter queen, die cut letters, scroll shapes?
Do you love tons of embellishments or are you a sleek and simple designer?
When you enter challenges do you like the prospect of being a random winner or would you like to win because your entry rocks?
If I were to design a single digital stamp to match your personality, describe what that stamp would be?
What do you think would give you more incentive to participate in this group?
Would you like to see me create more sentiments stamps and if so which is the first sentiment you would like to see me create? Please add your sentiment or more if you have more than one.
We at CS Designs have been brain storming and we will be adding some games and challenges soon but would like to know if you have any ideas or things that you would like to see us try. Let your imitation run wild here.
Do you like working with my designs and If I were to hold a call for more designs would you be interested?
:) Chris / CS Designs

Permalink Reply by RATS on March 29, 2011 at 8:55am I find it harder to manage time as I get older. I want to do the things I have been letting go and do less for others.( Clients and business) I have just started to try digital art. I need to learn how to manipulate the images on my computer. I have exploded all over the map as I got into things, then I found something else related and on and on it goes. Even with the card making. It started out simply making cards. Now I do ACT's and Tags ans now Digital. That has exploded also. I would love to see your photo's. I am forever looking for vintage clip art. I am an antique buff and love it all.
Permalink Reply by Princesa Ardilla on March 28, 2011 at 10:29pm I started crafting since very young, when I was 5 I crochet and stitch with my granma, then I learn many other things, when I was 17 or 18 I start painting on wood, first a kind of naif style and then when I was in my thirties country and decorative style. At the same time I was doing cross stitch and sometimes sawing. Then, I saw beautiful photo albums and start to learn about scrapbooking but material was no available where I live... then one day I find some DPs (not acid free) and start to make some cards, mixing my country style images, I didn't own any stamp and didn't know anything about digital stamping, this was in 2008..
In the begining of 2010 I went back to paper, and started to do cards again and scrapbook and find out about the big community in blogger and learn a lot with tutorials and just for watching. And now I'm a cardmaking addict :)
I use a lot of freebies and some digistamps that are not freebies as well. Few times I use my rubber stamps now, but still like them.
I consider myself a beginer, I'm not a pro and don´t have many tools. I'm saving to buy a big shot or a cuttlebug, I really want to buy it!
My cards are very simple, I don´t use a lot of embellishments. Normally I don´t make a card a day, but I do four or five in a good week and only a couple in a (work) busy week.
What I like is to use a sketch to follow, that´s helping me a lot. And I like to use ribbons and buttons, I love flowers but I don´t use many yet. Normally I like the image to be the most important in the card. I don´t use many sentiments in my cards because when I do it sometimes don´t know who will receive it, I speak Spanish, but live in country with two languages: kazakh and russian and have a lot of English speaking friends here and in other places... Sometimes I just add a sentiment in the moment I write the card.
I like the random draw because I never get pick for my creations, hahahha... as I said I'm a begginer. Only once I was chosen 3 top at this moment.
I like what some other designers call Digiday, during a weekend they play a few challenges and games and there is a few winners and I like it because I make at least two or three cards and sometimes I won (random).
I have a blog called Ardilla's papers and another one calle Tarjetas de Ardilla, but I can use now but you can see a few of my creations from last year.

Permalink Reply by CS Designs on March 29, 2011 at 12:20am I became interested in card making about 10 years ago, not long after I moved to the Netherlands from South Africa. I started off just making my Christmas cards. About a year ago now, I set up a craft room for myself in our 3rd bedroom and started making cards on a more regular basis. I think I'm an average crafter. I mostly make cards but I also enjoy making glass mosaics. I make two or three cards a week on average, mostly for challenges. I use the cards myself or give them to friends and family to use. I mostly use free digital stamps but I do buy the odd one occasionally. My favourite toy is my Spellbinders Wizard - dies and embossing folders are my big weakness :) As far as challenges go - I love winning prizes so the random draw is my favourite but I love it when I am in the top 3 or 5 prize or no prize.
I have a blog here where you can see more of my work.
