I have not tried to emboss using the ink from the inkjet. What I have done is used my glue pen to heat emboss and it works wonderfully. I have had the ink smudge if I "rub" the pen over the same area to much, which is really not neccesary. To be honest, I can't see how embossing quickly would work unless I embossed after printing on the "best" setting. Have you tried changing your setting?

Thank you both!
Sandy have you tried heat embossing with clear embossing powder with that card stock. I am really liking the embossed feel and been doing it most of the times recently. Just with the GP paper sometimes it dries too quickly that some areas are un-embossed. Plus I am recently having "feathering" problems with that paper. I tried with SU paper too and that dried right away I couldn't emboss at all. Weird because it's somewhat coated I thought it would not dry so quick.

HI Ellie, just finished my Digital Tuesday Card :o)

I use Neenah White. There are 2 kinds and I thought there was a difference with printing digital images. What I found out, though, is that I can't print in "best" mode for some reason. If I do, the ink smudges even if it has has a few days to dry.

Paper Temptress carries both.
7 Kids Collenge Fund also carries one. Theirs is cheaper, but with the amount I purchase, the shipping brought it up beyond Paper Temptress.

I also read that Gina K and Paper Trey have good what cardstock. The papertrey will not go through my printer so I save it for card bases. I don't know the weight of Gina K, ( have never tried it) but it is easy enough to check. I belieive that they both say what weight in their description.
I hope this helps you :o) hugs

Sandy if you read this, have you ever heat embossed your digis printed on this card stock?
I have usually used georgia pacific paper and it was ok to heat emboss but some parts already dried too fast. So a few weeks ago I found something called "copic paper" at a local stamping store (one hour away from me) and the ink actually stayed a little wet long enough to perfectly heat emboss the whole image and the copics worked like a charm. So last week I went back to get more of the paper and when I came home with it I realized it was NOT the same. It felt more like my own GP paper. So now I need to find something that I can heat emboss my digis with and something better than GP. I've read lots of good stuff about neenah CS.

It's been a while that I posted here but need to find your post about neenah CS Sandy. I need to order some good card stock.

Oh, wow, I've never heard about the blood type diet. Will have to check that out. We are all type A.thanks so much for the website Sandy.

I have talked to his pediatrician Jennifer, just on spring break. Unfortunately the doctors around here rather prescribe drugs than help you with any sort of diet (good thing no meds he was given was helping, because they all have side effects that I rather not have to deal with if I don't have to). He did give me a list of great foods that can replace calcium and vitamin D for the milk intake.

WOW, I will have to tell my son about the gluten. I followed the blood type diet for a while a couple of years ago, and just strted it again a month ago. As a blood type "O" we can not tolerate dairy or wheat gluten, but can tolorate rice, spelt (a great gluten free subsitute for wheat), quinua, and a couple more. I have not heard of the diet that you are talking about, but I know there are tons of recipes on the Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type website.

Got to run...hubbie is getting ready to leave for work

{{{HUGS}}} to you both :o)

It's not Lactaid, as that helps with lactose intolerance, but he is actually Casein intolerant which is the protein in the milk.
It's supposed to be some sort of supplement, as far as I read about it, but I probably won't give him that because I am affraid of unwanted side effects. It's recommended anyway to do the dairy exclusion instead of the enzyme.

He had some symptoms again today because while I was at work yesterday hubby decided to get them a cookie with their meal at subway (not the one we got sick at a while ago), and I am sure it has milk in it. It's so hard to keep all milk away, plus he's been really wanting to eat school lunch and drink the cocoa for lunch that they get there (which he did up until easter break). I feel so bad for my little guy!!

Jennifer it might have been a Gluten Free Casein Free diet that your cousin was on, and that would really be strict with no gluten, that stuff is in everything.

I'm so thankful for you ladies to listen to my problems!

Hi Jennifer!

Ellie, I believe you are thinking of Lactaid. It comes in pill form and also there is a brand of milk with it already added. How wonderful if it works for your son!

hugs
