Paper Craft Planet

Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

It's time for a new Challenge, So I made another sketch for you.  ;) I hope you like it.

Also attached below is a Freeby called "Gingerbread Pair" that you can use for the Challenge. But this time you are free to use any DZDoodles stamp for this Challenge, but you have to use the sketch.

Have fun and I hope you have time to join us. :))

You have untill Wednesday December 22 to enter the Challenge. Just post your card in the comment section below in this post. The winner will receive 1 image of DZDoodles of their choice.

We will announce the winner on Thursday 23. ;)

Remember to download the Freeby before the Challenge is over because when the Challenge ends the Freeby will be gone. After that the image is only available in the DZDoodles store. ;)

The Freeby is gone now and only available in the store. We have no entries this time so no winner. We hope to see you next time. ;)

I love those examples!! Thank you for the image.
I'm new to our DT and I definitely have my work cutout against these talented ladies!! I've already learned new techiniques and products and it's only the first challenge for me. Can't wait to see what everyone makes. I just love to see one image used and all the different interpretations of the sketch.

Hugs to all - Jen
This sketch was a 'treat' to work with Rosalien! I look forward to working with you all, and seeing all the beautiful creations that everyone will be making with Diane's beautiful images.
Thanks Rosalien! I hope I can join in the challenge.

Loving the sketch and the freebie!  I'm sorry ladies that I'm late on my card but I got it done today!  You all did a WONDERFUL job!  I also love seeing the image used in all the different ways! Can't wait to see more!!!

Aww, I love the bits of 'icing' trim and the embossed, scalloped circle.

Thankyou!!!

I love the striped paper with the gingerbread guy Valerie.  Great choice.  I like how you have added color around the edges of the image and that icing looks yummy!

"OMG"! This is one of my favorite Christmas images, because I'm a gingerbread-freak and I'm so glad that it's offered as a freebie! As you stated Jen, I too love seeing one image used and all the different interpretations of the sketch. It really gives a person great ideas whether they stick with the same materials or add a bit of difference to their project! They are all lovely and inspiring! I've gotta get busy! I look forward to seeing many more ideas!

Here's one of my card ideas ... the trick to using Prismacolor Colored Pencils is to know your color combinations. For the gingerbread color I used just three colors; 1st-PC1034-Goldenrod (over the entire image), PC1033-Mineral Orange (lightly applied 1/8" out form image outline), and PC945-Sienna Brown (lightly applied on top of PC1033 color along image outline). And of course, the sentiment stamp is from Close To My Heart #C1293-WONDERFUL SEASON (Valerie is a CTMH Demonstrator ... purchase products from her!). {{HUGZ}} Diane :0)

This looks excellent. Thanks for sharing your coloring techniques.

loving your gingerbread Diane they came out so cute!
