Ya know...I've only used mine once (I know...shameful isn't it), so I don't have lots of experience, but the one time I did use it, I was satisfied, although I think I need to get some of the flowersoft glue. I just used PVA glue and while it worked ok, I'm thinking that the flowersoft glue would be a little thicker and easier to use.
Has anyone used the flowersoft glue...and how did it compare to other types?
The FS glue is way thicker. I need to order more of it! I watched the DVD and the number one problem she said is that people get frustrated because they don't use the right glue.
It is MESSY. I put mine in a tupperware bowls with lids and work over SU graph paper so I can funnel it back into the bowl. Getting it back into the FS container just isn't worth it. It needs to be fluffed out anyways so sense in compressing it over and over.
It is remarkably resilent and seems to hold up pretty well to mailing. It takes some practice and you need to make sure you don't put too much or will be icky but I do like it.
It is way easier to make your own flowers on wires than anything else. I've had a hard time getting it to look right on stamped images. I have the wheelbarrow stamp and love the images but can't get the FS to look right for me although part of that is my lack of coloring skills and that is a complicated stamp.
Nope! I loved all the colors you had in the store! I think I'm going to wait till you get the glue in, then try that with a few colors. I have a couple stamp sets that I think this would work well with.
Flower soft is great! Here is a picture of a card I made with it and it was easy. The second picture is of a picture frame that needed something done with the flower pot( used florist wire for larger flowers)~~Flower Soft!
I use Fast Tacky glue, works fine. You can go to my page to view the pics.
