I thought it would be fun to start a list of crafting tips.

Tip: You can use an exacto knife (craft knife) to distress your paper edges if you do not have a distress tool.

My tip: You can store your Copic markers in any position that you need for your storage purposes. Vertical or horizontal, it doesn't matter because the marker is pressurized. If one end gets a little too juicy or starts spitting, take off the caps at both ends and this will even out the pressure in the marker.
Thanks for the tip Christine. I did not know that. I don' t have Copics yet but it is good to know for when I get some. >:0)
Use a brayer to evenly ink background stamps.
Heat embossing powder from the underneath so your embossing gun does not blow the embossing powder.
Use a stylus to help push ribbon through small holes.
Use the little bits of rubber after you trim your stamps as pop dots. You are recycling and it is FREE!!!! No need to buy pop dots!!!!
Well most of my favorite tips are already on here!!! I am a huge user of my foam and rubber for popping up my parts of the card. I love my SU! Stampin Deminsionals, but foam and rubber pops them up even further which I like and I just use glue dots to attach to the paper on both sides.

Hey Tonya I always go pull out one of my Kitchen knifes and stand over the kitchen trash to distress my paper edges never thought to use an exacto knife though!!! LOL!!!

So I would say Glue Dots not the Zotto brand, but the brand SU! or Hobby lobby sell I use them on every project just pop a glue dot on each corner and boom I have it adheised and on in seconds!!! Very cheap and very strong adhiesive!!!

I use 3M thick foam squares instead of pop dots. They are much cheaper. I cut them in 4's and they work perfect.
Heather I have a distress tool and to be honest I like using the exacto knife better. The blade is just like what is in the distress tool but I like the look it gives better since I can control it better. I also know people that just use their fingernail to distress the edges.
I have a distress tool too, and I prefer my scissors!!! LOL

I never thought of 3M foam squares...where do you buy them??
I get them at Wal-Mart. Most stores like that carry them though. I believe Home Improvement stored have them as well.

Hope you're having a great day!
Ha Ha,

I learned a great Craft tip today when you get a small splinter in the bottom of your foot and can not find any tweezers then take a glue dot and put it over the splinter on your foot for a few minutes then when you pull the glue dot off the splinter will come out!!!

LOL!!!!

Our stamping supplies are all so versitile!!!
