I thought it would be fun to start a list of crafting tips.

Tip: You can use an exacto knife (craft knife) to distress your paper edges if you do not have a distress tool.

Love the glue dot tip for splinters. My kids get them in their hands from our play set. It needs to be sealed badly

I have used the edge of my desk to distress too. If you can dampen the edge of your paper first it makes distressing easier and you get that nice rolled look. I could never distress with an exacto knife. I would lose a finger for sure ;)

I don't really have any other tips I don't think.
lol Yes you have to be very careful when distressing with an exacto knife. I will have to try the desk tip..........never thought of that. Thanks Kimme!! >:0)
I have a great tip that I found to work really well. If you want to emboss without it being a craft ink you can stamp your stamp on a clear embossing pad then stamp your stamp in whatever ink you chose and it will still emboss. I use this a lot for my su inks cause I don't own the craft spots too.
Fabulous tip, Crystal. Thanks so much for sharing! >:0)
