Welcome!

Hi, and welcome to the non-cartridge die-cut machine group. IF you think you have a better name for this group, please let me know, this was the best I could do :)

Ok, do you want to know more about these types of machines? Do you have some work or a file that you don't mind sharing? Or, you are a regular user and have questions and answers? Come on in!!!

Keep in mind that I only own the KnK and until I get more people in this group, the KnK is what I can answer best. I do know a bit about the other machines based on the information that I received when trying to find the best die-cutter for myself but my knowledge is quite limited. So tell your other non-cartridge friends about this group and let us all get this group rockin'!

I hope to later post challenges and the whole nine yards once we have a group of active people here. Can't wait!!

Machines:
QuicKutz Silhouette
Xyron Wishblades
CraftRobo
Klic-N-Kut
Pazzle
Gazelle Bosskut

Can anyone please ltell me, if I load a card I have made using my cutter (Silhouette Cameo), how I should label it for the gallery? Couldn't just see the instructions.

I have the original silhouette but just ordered the new cameo. I am hooked on my silhouette since receiving it last year (when the SD came out and really at a fantastic savings) for Christmas from my hubby....I ordered it and wrapped it BUT it was my best gift!!

If any of you are interested, I'm hosting this week's 3D Tuesday Challenge and I've included cut files for the project: http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/3dchallengegroup/forum/topics...

The files will be available for free until the next challenge comes up.

Here is my card for the AiFactory Design Team Blog Hop I used the trace outline feature after importing the jpeg. I cleaned up lots of points to make it cut smoother and I also used a couple of other silhouette files for the tags. Visit my blog and hop on along for a chance to win some really cute digital rubber stamps.

I hope that you will show and tell so I can see. This would be neat; it is my first file that is shared and I would love to know how well it works for you. I used Dick Blick's sulphite drawing paper for these roses and distress inks; they turned out so nice.

Hello Adela- I've not been around here much lately but I noticed that you joined the group. I'm glad; everybody must be MIA somewhere. I don't have a Cricut I have a Silhouette SD. I love the freedom to create my own designs. I only have done about 5 items but that is 5 items!
I have a rose flower pattern that looks really pretty for Mother's Day and am trying to see if I can upload it here; flower_1rose1.GSD

I don't know if you can use .gsd files but if you can you are welcome to use this file. That goes fro everyone.

Hi, I just joined this group today and I'm hoping to learn a few things about the different machines. I use scal with my Cricut Exp. By the way, I'm hosting PCP's 3d Challenge today and I've included a cut file for downloading. Play along if you'd like!
