I used a mixture of sparkle on this one. The orange sparkle is from Stickles, the red, green & holographic that's on the pearls is from Amos glitter glue Sparkle & the ends of the curliques are from Magic Scraps. The fuzzy glitter yarn around the DCWV adhesive ribbon is from my stash (& it's getting low :[) as is the rhinestones that I got from some kids nail set. I used Strasbourg rubons in black because the gold leaf I tried to use didn't show up very well. Thanks for all of the nice comments.
WOW! Thanks Michelle! I'm really glad I decided to post it instead of saving it for later! Everyone had such wonderful creations...I hope you don't mind if I use some elements to use in future artwork! I guess I need to go & post it on my blog too. Thanks again Michelle!
You are so welcome, Lee! Its awesome and thank you for all of the details on how you made it!:)
I see that my earlier post didn't come up again. I used a lot of different bling on this one. I started with printing her on The Paper Company shimmer paper & coloring with colored pencils & Goo Gone as a blender. The orange bling is Stickles, the red, green & holographic is Amos Glitter Glue Sparkle, the ends of the curliques are from Magi Scraps & the rhinestones were from a kids nail art kit from my stash as well as the glitter yarn (which is getting REAl low) which is wrapped around the DCWV adhesive ribbon. I did use gold leaf on the corners, but it didn't show up so I used Strasbourg rub-ons with rhinestones in somce spots. The Heidi Grace shimmer foiled paper with the shells on it also added to the shinny factor. I had to tone it down some with the mulberry paper. It really helped to take the picture with the sunlight shinning on it. I must've taken 30 pictures to get the bling to show up. Thanks for your kind comments!
Nail art kit! That's so funny, I thought I was the only one who snuck my daughter's leftovers into the craft drawer!
Wow, you did an amazing job, Lee!! Thanks for sharing your creative process with us!:)
