Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more
Getting to know each other?
I know many of you a little bit from other groups and such, but I thought it might be nice to have a thread where we can get to know each other a little better.
So here is a little about me.......
I have a DH and 3 daughters - one is 9 and the twins are 5. We live outside Philidelphia. DH works for DuPont and I did too as an Engineer - until I had the twins. Once I had 3 kids 3 years old and under I threw in the towel and resigned. Now I am a SAHM - and I also run the Paper Garden Projects Store and give classes on the side.
I'm pretty active in church and I lead a Brownie Girl Scout Troop (soon a Daisy Troop for the twins too, just couldn't talk anyone else into it! LOL). I also love gardening - and have way more gardens than I should. But I love all my little plants and don't think I could give them up (even though by mid August I'm wondering "what were you thinking planting all this stuff")
As for papercrafting, cardmaking is my favorite - and my favorite part is the coloring. I love my Copic markers and have become quite addicted. But I also like to watercolor sometimes, or use Prismacolor pencils.
So that's me in a nutshell. I'd love to hear more about you!

Great idea, Cathrine! Hiya! I am AnnMarie. I have 4 kids (18, 15, 13 and 9) I have two of each flavor! I am a stay at home mom too and we home school! I am pretty active in my community. I run our local home school group as well as our counties soccer program. I coach 2 soccer teams and was a cub scout CubMaster for about 6 years. I can totally relate to doing it because no one else will! LOL
I love all things paper craft-y and love to rubber stamp and scrapbook! I live in the country with my wonderful hubby and sweet kids and a ton of animals!

Hi, Cathy and everyone!
I teach Physics and Anatomy&Physiology at an inner city Catholic high school in Philadelphia; I'm a retired Optometrist, due to arthritis and fibromyalgia.
I've been a life-long crafter- I made my first scrapbook at age 8, was taught to crochet at age 10 by my Gran, and first tried ceramics at 12. My enduring passions have been needlework, crochet and papercrafting, with a special love for photography and preserving and using photographs.
I've been married 32 years to a great DH, who enticed me at the beginning by making me laugh and keeps me happy by still making me laugh. Our children are grown and we are very much enjoying the new freedoms that brings.
I do very little crafting during the school year- there is only enough energy to teach- but try to spend my summers making up for it. During the school year I spend my time reading and learning. -
