Paper Craft Planet

Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Hi everyone! So here is the contest I came up with.........

I've been posting my little gift ideas all week on my blog and I'd love to see yours. So how about a little homemade gift contest? With a big prize!!

Each person who shares a homemade gift idea will be put into a random drawing to win a Homemade Holiday Stamp Kit. This is a huge kit full of stamps, papers, embellishments and a bunch of different packaging materials to alter and embellish. You can see the details on the kit HERE.

The contest specifics:

Create a a gift item for the contest. It can be some special packaging, an ornament, stationary set, goodie bag, candle.... anything you would give as a gift or part of a gift.

The item must be something new, not previously posted (no cheating now....). It does not have to use items from the Paper Garden Projects store (although you know we'd love if it did).

The item must include some element of stamping somewhere.

To enter your creation in the contest, add a link to your creation to this discussion thread or post a picture of it here. Please note that we will be drawing the winner from this thread - not from comments on my blog post about the contest. So please make sure you post it here so you don't get missed.

Stampers outside the USA are welcome to participate - but please note that if you win I will have to cut down the 12x12 papers in the kit so I can ship the prize economically.

The winner will be drawn on Friday Nov.28.

So please come out and play along! Hey - you were going to make those gifts anyway right?

This is absolutely gorgeous!! Great job! : )

Here is what I am making for Christmas gifts this year. The glass plate is 12 x 12 and the inserts are 6 x 6. The insert is attached with velcros. This is the spring insert. I will be making 4 more inserts for this plate.......summer, fall, winter and Christmas. The plates can be purchased at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I bought 12 of them so I will be busy!

Another great project! Those will be so cool - especially since you can change the plate to match the season. I love your idea!
Your plate is really cool!!
That is such a great idea - ooh, the possibilities!
I like your plate sooo much!! It's so fun and fresh!
Wow, what great ideas you have! I'm going to get started on the ornaments this week. I think I will make ornament "kits" so the receiver can make them. Here is my gift bag and matching card. I made this bag about a paperback books width. I was originally intending to make them smaller for a set of cards and a calendar but it evolved as I went. Thanks for all the great ideas on your blog!
