Roll Call - Please sign in and give a quick intro if you're a member of Phindy's Place PCP Group!

Hello, can you hear me at the back?!

We have over 1,000 members and it would be nice to hear from those who are active, also to have a quick intro so newbies (and not so newbies) get to know us in the friendly group.

I'm Anne, I live in the Berkshire racing village of Lambourn.  Phindy's are some of the first digis I ever bought and I fell completely in love with them.  I was very honoured to be asked to lead the Design Team when Phindy set it up and I feel I have grown and developed as a crafter since I've been on the DT.  I've been making cards for around 3 or 4 years now, before that my main craft was quilting, which has now taken a bit of a back seat to cards.

I am married to an understanding husband who ties his fishing flies and understands about craft stash, we have 2 teenage sons, 2 horses and a terrier.  I like to craft, ride, read, cook, go horseracing, walking.  Something you might not know about me: I'm a complete anorak about the Rolling Stones and their music, on the first online forum I joined I called myself Stargroves, after the house where so much iconic music was recorded, that is why my blog is called Stargroves:)

OK ladies who will go next :)

I'm Shirley and I'm from Mississippi in the Deep South of the USA. If you ever heard me talk, it would be a dead give away. I am  married and the mother of two girls(married and became there Mom) and have two delightful grandchildren, the youngest I call MonkeyMoo, MM for short. I am an EXTREME crafter. I do a little bit of it all(sewing, crocheting, crewel, counted cross stitch, knitting to name a few).

I've only been into the digi scene and cardmaking for about two years, but it has consumed my life. My sewing of classic clothes for children has truly taken a trip to the cedar cabinet. Phindy's is also one of the few groups I am a member of. Her images I think appeal to me, because her images are so REAL life. The group in and of itself is comprised of some fantastic women and if you haven't joined in to post, DO. We welcome everyone.

I am retired and my favorite place to hang out is TazMania, the 16 x 24' shop my DH and I built behind our house for all my crafting goodies. My nickname among my WW buddies is Taz for the Tasmanian Devil(they say I never slow down) and thus the name. My other passions include reading, kayaking, walking, skiing(both water and snow), the computer and babies.

So whose next?

Hi, I'm Tammy and I'm from a rural community in Idaho.  I love to color with my Copics but have taken a break from my crafting here the last 6 months due to a very busy summer and now I'm back to homeschooling my oldest granddaughter.  I hope to get back into it this winter when things slow down.  I'm not much of a chatter online these days but I do love to read what everyone is up to!!

NEXT!!!  :)

Tammy, I am so glad to see you popping in to tell us you're out there and still going strong.

Yay...Glad to hear how you're doing Tammy!! We've missed your comments.  : ) I understand the busy with family factor totally!

Tammy!  So great to see you here!

Ok, so am kind of active, maybe not quite as active as some others and as much as I would like....

I live with my fab hubby in Andover, Hampshire, who has turned the spare room into my very own crafting haven... Love him so much lol.... I also have a very naughty little terrier called Tessa who thinks her lifelong reason for living is to protect me from absolutely everything in the world lol..... She is a rescue dog who we have had for just over 3 years now...

I work as a care manager for adults with learning disabilities (basically an unqualified social worker).  I am studying through the Open University to be qualified (3 years down and 1 to go!!!).  As most of my studies are now out of the way I am finding more and more time to craft.  Recently new to discovering Phindys images however fell in love with them as soon as I saw them and soon after noticed that there was a DT Call and amazingly I got picked yay!!!!!  Lots of excuses to play with these fantastic images!!!

Crafting is my passion and helps me through hard times in life.  First discovered it when I was going through a divorce and it helped me to escape into another world!.  That was about 4 years ago and am now completely hooked......

My other passion is reading and am rarely seen without my trusty kindle within arms reach (except when crafting however it is usually in the same room somewhere...)

I was a hold out on the Kindle, but finally broke down this summer and got one. I'm not without it and take it with me everywhere I go except TM. Almost there with the degree. Good going.

Ooo you are not too far from me Catherine, bout an hour away :-) I'm down in the south towards Bournemouth.

woohoo, maybe some of us should have a Phindy crafting day as Anne is a little north of me I believe.....

Hi everyone!

I`m Mona and i`m also one of the DT members. I live right outside of Trondheim which is the 3rd largest city in Norway, in a village called Hommelvik. I am married and have 2 sweet daughters. Isabell is allmost 4 and Julie is 13. I have been crafting for allmost 3 years now and i`m soooo hooked, lol.

I am ashamed to say that i haven`t been too active recently besides posting my cards. I hope to get better at this in the nearby future but at the moment i have a lot on my plate. At the moment i don`t want to say so much about why until everything is cleared. Even though i don`t engage in the chat too much i still visit from time to time just to read your comments and to keep updated. I am so proud to be a part of this loving and supporting group. You are just like an extended family. :-) Hope everyone is doing fine and i wish you a great weekend.

Hugs...Mona

Hi, I'm Carol from southern Indiana. Married to hubby for 36 years. I do all kind of crafting. My favorite ones would have to be minis, flowers and card making. I am retired from nursing. Just sit at home and craft and play. I have my own room in the basement which I'm in the middle of reorganizing. What a job. I know I should get rid of some stuff but can't seem to part with a thing. Blessings, Carol

Carol, as soon as you get rid of it, you'll discover a need for it. Do you find yourself wondering how you ever had time to work  before retirement?
