Thursday's Challange - Nontraditional Colors
Good morning everyone! Wow....can you believe that it's Thursday already. I really hope you are all enjoying the festivities this week. There has been some fabulous cards posted so far!!!
My challenge for you today (which I hope you'll choose to accept) is to create a Christmas card using one of Phindy's AWESOME images and I want you to use nontraditional colors!!! Some of you are probably saying....okay, what are nontraditional colors!?! Nontraditional is going to be anything but Red, White or Green.
For my card I have used the darling image "Sweet Carol" and I just love her little angelic face!!
I have used a really small 5 petal punch to create my mini roses and although they were a little more difficult to do they turned out so beautiful. You can follow the same tutorial as the bigger roses that I have on my blog HERE!! No you don't have to use flowers. You can use anything you want as long as your don't use traditional colors for your card. I have used the Basic Grey Capella line and it looks beautiful with this image!!
I can't wait to see what all of you awesomely talented Phindy Phans create for this challenge!! You will have until Monday November 1st to complete your card and the winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to Michaels's or better yet to Phindy's store! Cool prize huh!?!

And I love your card Tammy! I have the perfect card in mind, and also the perfect little girl who will love to recieve it. ;-) I'm feeling quite sad it's Thursday already, I have enjoyed the challenges this week so much - you really are an imaginitive and talented lot aren't you?! ;-)

Boy has this card ever got the WOW factor going. I don't have a flower punch, but I've got a Cricut cut file for one. I can't wait to try my hand at the roses and the challenge.
