Inspiration Card Challenge. Use one stamp set inspired from another stamp set!
Hi Everyone,
Well I wanted to get this challenge up. I am still working on my sample because of a sick kiddo and also having Hubby home for a long weekend (he does not think stamping should be my main priority right now??????? Does that make any sense to you????? LOL) my sample is not done yet, but I will give you an idea of what I am doing.
I was talking to my good friend Janna on the DT and I said well I have not been able to do my sample card with everything going on at our house and she said to put the challenge up anyway.
So the challenge will run from 2/16/09 to 2/26/09 when Vicki starts the new Pink Cat Studio DT challenge.
Of course as always you can still play in any of the challenges as far back as you want, it is just that any challenges that had prizes the prizes are over but you are welcome to try out the challenge.
Inspiration Challenge:
What you are supposed to do is go to the Pink Cat studio store look through all the Pink Cat stamp sets and pick one then use a different Pink Cat Studio set you have to make an inspiration card inspired from another Pink Cat set.
So for an example the Card I am working on uses Billy with the Frog on his head, and Lily standing on top of them. I was inspired from the Farm animal set that has all the animals balanced on top of each other.
While thinking about this challenge I went and looked and actually came up with several ideas I could have used to make this inspiration, Like Milly Moo standing back to back with herself using the reflection technique inspired from Lily and Billy standing back to back in the sweet heart set.
Last requirement. You card must be square, and also utilize at least 2 embellishments of some type.
So:
Use a Pink Cat Studio Stamp set inspired from another Pink Cat set from the Pink Cat Studio store.
Make your card Square
Use 1 Ribbon
Use 2 embellishments of some kind.
I will try to get my sample card on here later today if Hubby and the 1 year old let me!!!! If not it will be tomorrow morning!!! LOL.
I can not wait to see what you all make!

I´m back in school on tuesdays nights for my beginners class in spanish...
I´ll try because it sounds like fun...

It was a fun card to do sorry I broke my own challenge rules I forgot I said it needed to be a square so my card is a rectangle feel free to do the same!!!! LOL.
