Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more
Lily the Fairy Contest
As I mentioned this is a card making contest. To enter the contest, print out the black & white image of Lily the Fairy and use that image in a card.
The image is in PDF format and is attached to the end of this post. If you have any difficulty printing this file please let me know. The coloured image of Lily the Fairy at the top of this post is for reference purposes only so please feel free to colour the image for your card in any way that you like.
Your card can be any theme that you like and you can also use stamps from other companies if you like. The only rule is that you must use the provided image of Lily the Fairy.
Submitting your card:
When your card is complete, email a photograph of your card to me at pinkcatstudio(at)gmail(dot)com. Please include your first and last name in your email.
Contest Deadline:
The contest will end on January 13th at 9 pm EST. Your card must be emailed to me before the deadline in order to be entered into the contest.
Judging:
On January 14th the design team and I will select a card as the winner of the contest and the winner will be announced on the company blog on January 15th.
On January 14th, I will create a photo album on Paper Craft Planet and I will display all of the cards that were submitted for the contest.

I'm glad you like Lily the Fairy Cheryl! I based the design on a painting I did about 5 years ago. The painting is entitled "Honeybee". It was a project I did in art school where we had to look up the meaning of our name and then create an illustration based on that meaning. My name means honeybee so this painting is my interpretation of that word.

Okay, how cute would it be to have Lily & her fairy friends! I love that idea Cyndi! I'm definately going to make a fairy stamp set now that I have this first design done. Maybe I should turn all of the Pink Cat Studio characters into fairies, LOL! Tweet, QT Hooty, Kiki, Pink Cat, the dog, that would be a really fun group to draw.
So for the Lily Fairy set, let me know any ideas you have for stamps. I was thinking of a design where Lily is peeking out from inside a flower. And maybe one where she is flying around with a large flower (as if she is a really tiny fairy maybe the size of a butterfly and that's why the flower would be so big. Maybe her sitting on a mushroom would be cute. Gosh I'm going to have to think back to my childhood, it's been so long since I thought about fairies, lol! -

Thanks, I'm glad that you like the painting :) It was fun digging up the photo.
I missed you gals too :) It was wierd not chatting over the last few weeks. I did enjoy my time away from the computer though. I spend so many hours a day on this thing that it was really good for me to do something different. My Mom and I played a lot of scrabble and cards and I read some books. It was a really nice break.
Heather, that's great that you got your Copics. I love the excitement of getting new craft supplies, I hope you have lots of fun with them!! -

Hello, everyone! I just stumbled on Lily and Billy and just submitted my first order with my Christmas money. I can't wait to get my new stamps. In the meantime, it will be fun to try this challenge. I am expecting my first Copics to arrive today, so I have lots of excitement here!
