Wow this was a great tutorial. I use my water color pencils and my aqua brush and not have used the oil and stumps yet, but would love to try. So do you use oil and stumps with watercolours or just regular colouring pencils? And where would you buy the stumps? I am assuming an art supply store but are there other places as well?

Wow... I am in awe at what can be achieved with colour pencils!! I didn't know you could 'blend' like that. I've never heard of a 'stump' in that context before either, what a learning curve I'm about to embark on!! I'm so pleased I found this. Your step-by-steps are brilliant and so helpful. Thank you so much.

This is absolutely AMAZING!!! Here I was all prepared to go out and spend goodness knows how much to get some copics {probably still will lol}, but I have a million pencils and now that I know you can do all this with them I don't have to be in a rush to get my copics. Thanks a million!!!

I've had Prismacolor pencils for at least a dozen years and never used them because the coloring just didn't "look" right.  Now I use them for shading EVERY day!  I use the mineral spirits and also sometimes use the Goo Gone (I saw that on the internet somewhere).  I need to buy some baby oil and try that now.
