Today, I had an epiphany.

Lightroom can be a scrapbooking tool.

I was looking at Cathy Zielske's blog and enjoying a free template download when I realized that I could create very similar layouts using Adobe Lightroom. In fact, I could use LR to organize all my scrapbook goodies too!

Lightroom has some limits, but if you already own the software and you regularly create collages or grid based scrapbook layouts, this is the tool you've been looking for.

OK, so now, I was on a scrappy roll, so to speak, so I did use Photoshop to create another grid based layout. This one sports some fun digi Polaroid frames. Them template is letter sized, but since I'm primarily a 12x12 scrapper, I mounted it on a 12x12 piece of cardstock. The background is just a plain black piece of cardstock with some white penciled spiderwebs. (Did you ever draw those in school? It's surprisingly fun!)
