Hello PCP peeps!!  Anyone still checking in??  Sorry I have been AWOL.  Things got crazy after the Christmas in July event, and for various reasons I've had a stretch of time where I've done very little stamping, drawing or blogging (for that it turned out my computer had to be replaced :(  ). 

Of course now the holidays are upon us.  I'll be getting my feet wet polishing off some more Christmas cards.  And I have been working on some new drawings and adding a bunch of Christmas images to the Etsy store.

So if anyone is still around and still a member of the Shady Tree Studio group here, I have a little thank you present for you.  Visit the STS Etsy Shop HERE and pick out a digital image.  Email me at shadytreestudio@gmail.com, and I'll send it to you!!

And I'm trying to come up with a reward of some time as a thank you for those who show STS images (stamp or digital) on their blogs . . . any suggestions? 

 

Also since I forgot everything I learned about PCP - what's your favorite part of the site?  Anything you'd like to recommend?

Hi Paper Craft Planet dwellers!!  Long time no see!!   It's been busy busy over at Shady Tree Studio!

We just had a release of three new stamp sets and the DT did a fantastic job showcasing them.  As a matter of fact, they are all going to be posting directly to the STS  blog over the next few weeks :^) .  Be sure to stop by!

 

And I am now also an a*muse | studio consultant!!  Have you checked out the catalog yet?!   Oh so pretty colors!!!   The store goes *live* on April 1st!

 

So what has everyone been up to??  Doing St. Patrick's Day cards??  I have a post on the Waltzingmouse Makers fan blog coming up on Thursday.  DH (and of course my daughter) are Irish but not me so it's a little harder to "get into it."  Maybe I should be really nice and send cards to his family??  Our nephew's birthday is actually the 17th!

Hi PCP pals!

 

So has anyone used a Sakura glaze pen sponged over with Distress Ink for a "glaze resist" look?   I was playing around last night and here's how it looks:

What do you think?  Do you like it?  Is this technique as old as the hills and I've been living under a rock, LOL!?!

Just thought I'd pop in and share a card and pass along some NEWS to you all at PCP :^) .  First the news. . . a SALE at STS!!   20% off stamps so hurry on over and place an order!!

 

And the card. .. I really love this one:

 

I've never been a huge fan of paper with glitter and flocking etc., but this is DCWV Mariposa paper and it's gorgeous!

I needed some textured/heavier paper in 12 x 12 for an art project at my daughter's school and Joann's had a 50% off sale :^) . . . perfect.  So i picked up a couple of paper pads and I'm so glad I did.  Even though I typically buy 6 x 6 pads, sometimes you just need something bigger so I have a nice stash now!
